Position Overview:

As a licensed Paramedic with Elite Ambulance, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier patient care in the Orland Park and South Suburbs of Chicago. Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to Emergency and Non-Emergency Calls : Provide prompt, high-quality care.
• Perform Patient Assessments & Advanced Care : Act decisively under pressure.
• Safely Operate Ambulance Vehicles : Ensure timely and secure transport of patients.
• Accurate Patient Care Reports : Document incidents clearly and thoroughly.
• Equipment & Supply Maintenance : Keep ambulances stocked and ready.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Facilities : Coordinate seamless patient handoffs.
• Ongoing Training : Stay updated with the latest EMS practices.
• Mentor New Team Members : Share your expertise and guide newcomers.

Requirements for Paramedic:

• Current Paramedic license
• ACLS & PALS certifications
• 1+ year EMS experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Emergency vehicle operations certification (or willingness to obtain)
• CPR/BLS certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 125+ lbs. with assistance
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to patient care excellence

• Ability to perform all essential Paramedic functions
• Lift, carry, and move patients and equipment
• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods

• Maintain valid immunizations
