The Hasbro IT Security team seeks a curious, passionate, and creative minded individual to help keep the world’s best play and entertainment experiences safe! Working with the Director of IT Security Operations, the Security Analyst will contribute to ongoing security operations and assist in growing IT security capabilities. The Analyst will work independently as a key contributor to the IT security team and collaboratively with multi-functional teams. The preferred candidate possesses a blend of security proficiencies, creative thinking and effective communication skills that will enable the individual to contribute in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment! A day in the life as an IT Security Analyst: Maintain the security event alerting process to ensure all events are properly triaged, researched and closed consistent with security operations incident response procedures Monitor security operations internal tickets to ensure appropriate incident assignment and remediation Be responsible for reviewing the security operations email queue, researching email notifications and raising up events when required Support strategic security operations projects and initiatives including metrics reporting, new security tool deployments and event monitoring enhancements Collaborate with the greater security team to evaluate new technologies and participate in proof-of-concept testing What you'll bring: Minimum 2 years of experience with common security technologies a must (such as AV, endpoint detection and response, intrusion detection, firewall technologies, network scanners, etc.) Exposure to a security operations environment and a proven ability to evaluate security alerts to determine appropriate incident response actions Familiarity with common attack vectors and related mitigation strategies Ability to write technical process documentation and standard operating procedures Ability to communicate effectively and independently manage small projects Experience managing or delivering security awareness training is beneficial Cybersecurity or relevant certifications encouraged Hybrid role located in Pawtucket, RI We are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer Hasbro is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment. The base salary range for this position is $90,900.00 to $136,300.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
