A Little Oaks Academy (LOA) Floater will support the school’s early childhood development program, providing a lasting impact on the LOA’s children by fostering a safe, nurturing, and educationally rich environment. Key responsibilities include nurturing age-appropriate development and ensuring care in a loving and safe environment. Floaters are expected to work collaboratively alongside the teachers in their assigned classroom(s).
Duties A Floater must maintain all requirements for the position as mandated by DHS licensed childcare facility as well as specific requirements for Little Oaks Academy. These requirements include:

A Floater is an hourly position. In addition to maintaining scheduled classroom hours, attendance at evening and weekend meetings, training sessions, fundraisers, and other work-related events is required from time to time.
Compensation will be dependent upon the applicant’s qualifications, including education and training, as well as experience.
