Job Title: Angular Node JS Developer
Location: Maryland
About the Role: The Angular Node JS Developer will champion human-centered design practices to improve users’ end-to-end experiences with state services. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, researchers, content strategists, and technical staff to drive user-focused solutions. The Angular Node JS Developer will engage stakeholders to build customer understanding, solve complex challenges, develop metrics, and improve program performance by integrating innovative methodologies. Effective communication of research findings through artifacts such as personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes is essential.
Your Impact: As a Angular Node JS Developer, you will:
- Design and implement responsive web application user interfaces using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Develop wireframes and prototypes based on requirements and validate designs through user feedback.
- Create mobile and cross-browser compatible interfaces utilizing frameworks like Bootstrap and Angular.
- Ensure UI/UX standards compliance in collaboration with application teams.
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that drive intuitive, measurable user experiences tied to key KPIs.
- User both high- and low- fidelity design tools to deliver compelling interfaces optimized for diverse devices and platforms.
- Make strategic UI/UX design decisions that maintain consistency across product offerings.
- Employ user-centered design methods, iteratively testing and refining design solutions through usability testing.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, UI engineers, client support, and other stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Communicate design processes, concepts, and solutions clearly to teams and clients.
These responsibilities are not meant to be all-inclusive; additional tasks may be assigned. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; or 5 years of equivalent experience in UX or related roles.
- Minimum 4 years of experience designing and developing web and mobile applications with responsive, cross-browser interfaces.
- Proficient with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, jQuery, Angular, and JSON.
Standout Qualifications: - Extensive experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Strong working knowledge of REST, XML, scripting languages, and integration of user interfaces with backend services.
- Demonstrated ability to create wireframes and prototypes using current UI/UX tools and products.
- Proven experience in planning and facilitating workshops and interactive sessions to gather user feedback and define operational requirements.
- Exceptional collaboration skills with cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex user needs into clear, actionable design solutions tied to business and user performance metrics.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and operating computer equipment.
- Clear verbal communication and adequate hearing for video conferencing and team collaboration.
- Ability to maintain ergonomic and distraction-free workspace conducive to creativity and productivity.
